St. Luke's Hospital Construction Update

Thanks to all the gifts and fundraising that has been done, we have been able to start the construction process for the expansion and renovation!  Although we are not finished with our campaign goal, we are able to get started with the year long process.  Here is what has been happening around the hospital campus!

The Construction started with the digging of what is going to be the clinic's basement.  The basement will be used as an educational center available for meetings, classes, and other hospital employee in-services and education.

The next phase was to knock out the existing hallway that used to be the connecting hallway to the former hospital.  While crews worked to knock out the hallway, another group worked on leveling the floor of the basement.

Making sure that the basement was deep enough required crewman to be in the hole measuring while the digging and leveling off were taking place.

Once the basement floor was level enough the crew was able to start working on putting up the walls for the extra physical therapy space and educational center.

Another shot of the walls being put up in the basement of the new clinic site.

The hospital campus keeps changing every day so make sure to keep checking back to see the progress that has been made!
